Great videos. Thank you. I listen as I weld and fit. Hoping to plant subconscious seeds through osmosis while I put in my time under the hood. End goal is to become CWI after two more trips around the sun. I appreciate you uploading these.

Hello. Would you have a video on how to verify Procedure Qualifications to AWS B2.1 covering the steps to follow from different scenarios from looking up the M- numbers, F- Numbers, and other areas from Clause 4 of AWS B2.1?

Hey Garry I waas going trough some of your content and it was delightful, I really hope you continue on doing these videos.
Also wanted to add maybe if you can explain briefly on AWS D1.8 with the topic on demand critical weld tests? I've been reading through especially on the filler metal testing and still don't understand some of the tests in that area. Thank you!

Gary, I do not know if you, yourself have any actual experience in welding. But I have enjoyed your videos and I believe you know as well as I do. There is no welding code! ASME is not qualified to write any code, let alone a welding code because they are not metallurgists! AWS is written by doctors of metallurgy! They qualified to write a welding but do not, why I have no idea! I use B.2 only and/or the military specifications, the experts! Three mile island nuclear, so called accident, was in fact a failure involving ASME. We need a code for welding, period. Written by experts that know what they are doing. A code that addresses, new to new, new to old and repairs, both new and old. That also addresses the safety factor and service life. I have 40+ years as a welder and retired CWI as a coordinator.
