I'm a fan of pro wrestling & combat sports oriented entertainment! I don't subscribe to negativity, dogma or tribalism. I love that Tony Khan is as passionate as he is and that he provides hundreds of performers, production and event staff an opportunity to make a living and hundreds of thousands of AEW & ROH fans the gift and opportunity to tune into and enjoy the product. I even attended the very first Wednesday Night Dynamite from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. If you remember it was the Blood & Guts themed event that was plagued & ultimately changed due to a plethora of injuries however being the very first Detroit event I felt I had to attend. The event delivered and I was happy! I then started to notice things weren't going well with all of the "happenings" surrounding AEW and I started paying really close attention to more of the "drama" that fans seem to love more these days then the performers literally risking their lives for our entertainment. My conclusion was irrelevant however it was glaringly obvious. You all have a very unique opportunity to etch your names into the megalithic slab of performers that paved the way for you to do what it is that you all love doing, and make a great living doing so. Some already have starting from outside AEW's inception your Jericho's, Moxley's, Omega's but of those original roster members I can count 5 not including the BEST TAG TEAM ON THE PLANET Cash & Dax that from now until eternity will be forever etched into wrestlings memory. I could spend literally thousands of dollars of my hard earned money to drive 20 minutes for an evening of entertainment. But I won't. And it's because right now I am engaged in the kayfabe stories of talent that for one reason or another have departed for other ventures. Within their first appearances right off the bat they were made to appear like million dollar talents breaking in. Jade was 60-0 and never has she been received nor did she look as dominant, poised & confident, as she did last Saturday. Again I'm not taking shots, I'm stating facts! The inability and/or unwillingness of some your talent to perform mandatory tasks whether professionally or personally is a maturity issue and whether it be working with other talent they've had differences with and allow bygones' to be bygones' this has cost this company an irreprehensible amount of financial and presentational damage. I don't understand some of the logistical components of the current product but between some of the unknown/unfamiliar potentially untrained talent being granted nationwide television coverage, to your assumption that Japanese strong style & Lucha Libre transcend cultural boundaries is absurd. You have the resources and airtime to categorize these issues. Treat each brand as though it were a territory, which doesn't prevent a talent from one coming and visiting the other for programs, programs and storylines should remain intact until they are finished, quit performing these *high* risk moves unless it's behind a paywall to prevent your talent from hurting themselves and you screwing yourself with a talent that cannot go because they are injured, all of the groups and factions are put together in this weird way conflicting with solo talent that should NOT be in a faction. Keep titles exclusive to their brands to build prestige and prevent the "everyone's got a belt" narrative. Don't ever allow another organizations title on your television unless your title is being defended in theirs. Establish lower, mid and main card talents and keep them competing with other lower, mid and main card talents until someone is chosen to go on a winning streak to evolve to the next section of the card. Please for the love of your company, fans and the business as a whole. Please tighten up these glaringly gigantic problems and you may just be ale to get out of this weird place you're in unscathed. I'll hope for the best and expect the worst, but all this can very easily be fixed!
