14. How to Create Section | AutoCAD for Landscape Design

If you want to make a landscape section in AutoCAD, you must first determine the size of the piece. Then, you need to choose the drawing orientation frame. You can change it to portrait or landscape. You should also make sure that the drawing is properly oriented. There are several tools in AutoCAD that will help you in the process of designing a landscape.

After you have chosen the type of terrain, you can choose the topography lines and then the color for the background. Once you have chosen the colors, select the objects that will be overlaid on the topography.

Then, you need to make a section in AutoCAD. To do this, you need to have a site plan. To create a landscape, you must first create the desired section line in your site plan. To do this, you can use the 'Site Plan' tool in AutoCAD. Then, you can use the 'Linework' command to create the linework.

You can modify the topography of any landscape by changing the height of the terrain. To do this, you must make contours on the ground. There are several ways to create this information in AutoCAD.
