Scream 7 | Courteney Cox NOT Signed Yet.....Dewey Return?!?!

Radio Silence and Melissa Barrera are taking a break from Ghostface this Summer. Abducting Abigail will be RS next feature film for Universal and Sam Carpenter will reunite with the duo for the project. Scream 7 could start filming this Fall, and Abigail is filming next month. This project and other scheduled events might be why Paramount wants filming to begin this Fall.
While they work on other projects, a Neve Campbell return and many other possibilities can be secured. KDM is claiming Ghostface filming should start in early 2024. I'll discuss rumors I've known regarding Scream 7 and clarify the Christopher Landon scenario. Everyone is allegedly back, but 3 people for now are not. BD has now validated the information in that video. BSL has been able to confirm Chris Landon will direct. RS will produce, and the core four is expected back. Neve Campbell winks at the idea of Sidney returning during a recent interview. Ghostface will strike during the Christmas holiday. Jenna Ortega's Role in Scream 7 is planned to be reduced. Michael Kennedy has shared his thoughts on Scream 7 and possible directions the series could go. A legacy star has a good relationship with Paramount. Multiple legacy stars seem to be in the story. VA has chimed in on the filming topic and more. Melissa Barrera has been fired from Scream 7. Jenna Ortega is out as well! Variety confirmed Spyglass' restart plans. THR reports Melissa was fired a while ago, but Spyglass head thinks Neve and Jenna are not needed. Spyglass allegedly botched a meeting with Melissa Barrera after the backlash. Christopher Landon won't direct Scream 7. James Vanderbilt is reportedly going solo for Scream 7, but is Guy Busick involved as well? Neve Campbell is still open to a Scream return. Kevin Williamson is directing and Neve Campbell is officially back. Courteney Cox is locked to return and Patrick Dempsey is in talks. Dempsey still hasn't signed on. Courteney Cox also hasn't signed either.

Courtney will be back tho no way in hell she's not returning I mean of course we won't know anything officially till probably December because they keep pushing the filming dates. Dewey returning probably be like in a vision form from Gale or something, I'm sure her having a more near death experience in six than any other films shook her up a bit.

I feel like if dewy does make a cameo as much as it will roll eyes maybe I think he should pull a Randy. With dewy it would make sense. He was always Randy’s legacy successor in a way. However I think it should just be a message video meant for just Gale. He can give his final Randy message as he tried in 5 however he could be like “f the rules of the movies” and just speak from his heart and have a resolve in video with Gale. I also think this should be a video that Gale has already seen and something she continuously goes back to because it was his final words to her so to speak. I also think they should let him physically address Tatum and the reasoning why he had to do what he did in 5. He couldn’t save Tatum and he didn’t want to see siblings lost again and it was dewy feeling he had purpose again and if your seeing this, I’m was a little rusty but I was never one to take a great shot.

I love the multiple timelines for the Halloween lore but SCREAM?? Nooo we have a cohesive story.. regardless of how you feel about 5&6 It still works ! so I hope if we see dewy it’s done properly like you said and it doesn’t just screw up one of the only slasher horror franchises that has an actual single story line that makes since

This is the problem with rumors, they somehow become facts. False facts in most occasions. As far as I know Neve is the only confirmed cast member. And it’s no surprise things are not running smoothly for Scream 7, Spyglass is running things.
