5 days exterminator notice is not enough time to prepare your place for fumigation. The problem is where to stash and protect all your stuff. 14 days notice is better and allows you to pace and think about what you need to do and how to stash things.

What if they tell you ur not required to leave the apartment? I work from home and the letter said it doesnt matter if we r home or not they will still fumigate. How does that work?

thank you for a very detailed explanation on what to do, I'm getting my apartment done in two weeks and want to be as prepared beforehand as I can. Two questions though, should I move the appliances away from the wall or leave it to them? Also, I want to caulk above and below the baseboards, should I wait until after they come or can I do it now?
