He wrote the preamble. He didn't write the entire constitution. Most credit goes to James Madison. It was a collection of a few people. This is exactly why he goes from "final draft" to "wrote the constitution." Which one is it? He wrote the final draft or he wrote it? (Well, we should all know by now he didn't write it.) This is History Channel's Ancient Aliens but for the constitution.

Edit: during the conventions that lead to the drafting of the constitution, the delegates from the states all had a hand in deciding how the country should be ran; people like Locke and Montesquieu, long dead, also had great influence on the constitution; the natives, although very minor which is contrary to popular belief, had lent some influence; the articles of confederation were an influence, whose writers include Jon Jay; Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin had some influence. This idea that any one person wrote the constitution and dozens of men just happened to agree with and sign it is bonkers. The constitution of our country was a century (millenia if you want to count back to ancient Greece and Judeo-Christianity) of ideas and great thinkers in the making, coming together amongst dozens of the great thinkers of the founding of the country.

This story above is far more historically accurate and far more miraculous than the hocus-pocus idea that one man decided how an entire country would be ran. There's. no secret, nothing is hidden in plain sight, there's nothing "very strange, " Morris is mentioned often if you research the constitution and the conventions.

This guy is just trying to sound edgy, taking advantage of the newest wave of modern conspiracy theorists and history revisionists.

A single person may have written those first two sentences but the Constitution was written by multiple people and there's no disputing that.

James Madison authored the US Constitution, Thomas Jefferson could not attend the conference, but many of his ideas were included in the final draft "Bill of Rights" being one of them. It was a combined effort of at least 39 individuals.

And we was very much against slavery!! Morris condemned the institution as “in defiance of the most sacred laws of humanity tears away his fellow creatures from their dearest connections & damns them to the most cruel bondages.”

The constitution is a treaty between sovereign states. That is made very clear in the 10th amendment. The powers of the federal government is limited while the powers of the states are unlimited except for those powers ceded to the federal gov't.

Here's a good one Google this document and see how hard it is to find this text. It seems like they don't want you to have access to this information.

The crazy thing is that public servants swear too uphold it and never read and learn it. Most don't have a clue what it says.

The states are de facto independent countries.

Just in case the sinister music gets too tiresome, it's Gouverneur Morris. He wasn't a governor; "Gouverneur" was his mother's maiden name and it was given to him as a Christian name.

The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights were in fact divinely inspired when you consider that the basic tenants of these documents are direct manifestations of the Judea-Christian tradition of inalienable rights given to us by a divine power (God), and therefore cannot be given or taken away by other people.

I would like to correct U sir. The Original or Organic Constitution of 1789 is not the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, 1871 and notice the all caps. The organic is the Constitution for the untied States of America. Also the American peoples power and authority comes from the Bill of Rights not the Constitution. The Constitution for the united States of America are the guidelines for government not the people.

James Madison is the primary architect of the Constitution. Morris was the head of the committee of style that put it into words.

I believe with all my heart that the US constitution was divinely inspired! No matter who wrote it. No matter how many people were involved in its creation.

Fun fact: the US declaration of independence is very similar to the Dutch declaration of independence written 200 years earlier.

Because James Madison was known as an excellent taker of notes, he was able to record every significant and noteworthy statement made by all the delegates. It was a no-brainer that he be tasked to assemble the entire constitution based on everyone’s contribution to it. His choice of words was beyond his years.

The words are so absolutely perfect and without confusion as to the meaning and purpose of intent.
