Exploring the Outer Limits of Saigon

I explore Thủ Đức District, Saigon, Vietnam. This district is in the outer limits of Sai Gon, in the northernmost portion of the city.

There are lots of restaurants, shops, and other general commerce in this neighborhood. It is also full of friendly Vietnamese people!

For people traveling to Viet Nam (or HCMC specifically) that want to see a more local urban district, a trip to Thu Duc would be a fun experience.

That mobile vendor with a recorded voice and a high-speaker is selling sticky rice cakes called Banh Chung that people usually eat during Tet ( Lunar New Year ) and Xoi Khuc, another kind of steamed sticky rice mixed with mung bean paste and minced pork . Truong Mâm Non means Kindergarten School .

yes i like your varied videos of food and then the tour. i really liked this one if it is the same Thu Duc i saw in 1970. could you find out if there are remnants of a French village. if so; they had very nice houses for the country and time with some having different shaped pools. i have pictures of several nice houses with one pool being in the shape of a piano. again; i really like your videos and agree with @jaymapson of your areas being different from other you tubers. keep up the good work.

Thu Duc has become a new city, some central locations of Thu Duc are also quite expensive. I refer to the rental price in some places even more expensive than Binh Thanh or Tan Binh. But overall Thu Duc is comfortable and spacious. I'm living here.
