It's subtle, but Tory being unable to look her in the eye once Sam came in broke my heart. She's so ashamed of her actions and embarrassed by her home. Even my daughter, who has been Tory 2x on Halloween, was saying "Please hug her, Sam."

I love how realistic Cobra Kai portrays the students in this series. None of them, including the bullies, are absolute villains. They’re just stupid kids that don’t know better. It doesn’t mean that they’re too far gone, that they can all find redemption and peace with time.

Sam seeing the reality of Tory's situation needed to happen at some point. Hopefully this builds a mutual respect between the two of them (maybe even a much friendlier rivalry)

Just the depression and loneliness Tory is experiencing for feeling like a letdown and a failure, when Sam realises that, she is full of regret and hate towards herself for not understanding what Tory went through alone. Just seeing Sam and Tory working together as sisters in the finale put a huge smile on my face. 🥹 Just having each others backs against Cobra Kai, just so amazing after waiting 3 seasons of them knowing each other. Can’t wait to see their friendship grow stronger in Season 6 just as Miguel and Robby’s brother bond. True sister connection happening.

I'm kinda glad that they portrayed Sam's realizations a lot more subtle. Her main focus was finding out why Tory admitted the truth, but giving us those little facial expressions from her seeing the apartment and seeing her sick mom in bed, was a very good addition, especially after Sam said "I *don't* wanna be here."
Then, seeing all of that, it was like Tory didn't even have to explain any of it, and it made her confession much more sad.
Seeing it all, hearing how her victory was the best moment in her life, and then hearing how her apparent life has gone so much more downhill, along with seeing her hand.
And it's even more sad with the fast that Tory can't even look at her eyes, cuz she's already too ashamed. My only little gripe is that, Sam could've been a little more tender rather than responding like a monotone robot, but I can forgive that since she's probably still processing it all.

The fact that Sam now sees what Tory is going through and is offering to help her get out of Cobra Kai, proves that she’s trying to get back on the right path and work past their differences. I enjoyed her this season and hope the writers keep that up in season 6.

One of the things that bother me this season was the absence of Tory and Amanda’s connection. Not once did they speak this season and that was like extremely important in Tory’s arc .. Hopefully season 6 they interact again.

The thing I love about this sceen was when she said 'when they handed me that trophy' and not ' when I beat you'
I know it a small thing but I loved it.

What I would love to see for season 6 is if Sam and Tory beacme "sisters" for real, just like Miguel and Robby became friends and brothers this season.
On scenario could be that Torys mother dies and Sams familly takes her in because she has nowhere else to go, and we could see a friendship and sisterhood blooming between them.
Also them teaching Anthony karate toghtter would be awesome =)

I think here, Sam was finally beginning to understand why Tory was the way she was towards her, though it was no excuse Tory’s behavior, but it does explain it

I've been in Tory's corner since day one. I'm so glad she's at least for now on the redemption path. If Season 6 does happen while they will never be friends Tory and Sam will work together to help Devin. It really bothered Me when I saw comments saying Tory was evil. She never has been she just had a frozen heart. If anything this season brought her some much needed healing.

They should do a somewhat similar scene. Where Tory sees Samantha’s scar, which reminded her of being expelled and make her realize that there’s consequences to her actions.

Tory was bullying sam because she was hiding from her real feelings about how scared she was for her Mother. And that her evil monster Father was going to come back and killl them. Her Mother and her little brother.

The scriptwriters pitched this perfectly. Given that both girls have knocked seven shades of shit out of each other over three seasons, they were never going to become friends overnight. Silver's skulduggery finally gave them both an opportunity to bring him down while tentatively looking at each other in a more favourable light. It will take most of season six for Sam and Tory to fully trust one another and iron out their differences, but the international karate tournament will be the perfect way to finally team them together and bring their bitter rivalry to a close. It also helps when you have two terrific actresses in Mouser and List to carry it off!
