How to hand pollinate gourds | Explained

In case of lack of bees or bee pollination you can be the artificial agent of pollination.
If you want to learn how to hand pollinate gourds then this video is for you. Plants like Bottle Gourd / Bitter Gourd/ Pumpkin/ Cucumbers have male and female organs growing separately on different flowers. Ideally, pollinators like bees, moths, bats can transfer the pollen to the female flowers but there presence has declined drastically in urban gardens. Therefore, we need to pollinate these plants by hand, so that we can get a good harvest .
I have tried to make this process simple and easy to understand. I hope this video helps.
