this reminds me of outlast: trials. basically in outlast there are enemies called “imposters”, they are almost indistinguishable from players besides their faces which are always still due to it being a mask, you can also tell them apart cause they ramble and laugh like psychos. also in the files it says the masks (it doesnt ever do this ingame) will sometimes have smiles instead of being a straight face, so the files always say to give your friend a hello, if they chuckle/have a weird grin/dont respond they are most likely an imposter.
