In this video Tommy will show us how to use a cordless pole chainsaw and why. He will present the Greenworks G24PS20, a lightweight 24V pole saw designed for pruning high branches around the garden. Powered by an advanced 24V lithium-ion battery, the pole saw offers high performance despite its low weight. Convenience is guaranteed with no fuel or electric cables to contend with, simply insert the battery and cut. With a 20cm cutting bar with tri-link chain and 3-piece split shaft design measuring 2.4m in length, pruning at different heights around the garden has never been easier. As part of the Greenworks 24V family, the battery can be used in a range of different tools, from grass trimmers, hedge trimmers to chainsaws.

I wish more how-to videos were like this. Tongue-in-check humor, down to earth, practical knowledge and wisdom, along with a nice touch of whimsy. Looks like you all had fun making this video and it shows. Bang-up job all around. Cheers!

I bought one a while ago, but only just used it today after hurricane Ian gave me a head start with fallen branches here in FL. Wow! It was pretty easy! And I am a total novice. I actually came here to learn how to care for it a bit since the manual is not as visual as I'd like. I haven't even used the extender yet but I know I will be saving tons of money doing some of these tasks on my own on my property. Now I want to trade in my corded hedge trimmer for a Greenworks.

Is this extendable for greater reach to higher branches? And is there a 40v version so I can use the same battery as my green works lawn mower and strimmer.

should be about saw...not about "trees".

I don’t know what the hell you’re cutting, but the 80v 10” Greenworks that I wasted money on wouldn’t cut a fart. 😠

Soft pressure, solid pressure, oiled and tightened correctly…nothing. 1/2 way through a measly branch no bigger than my middle finger, damned thing was smoking and spilling oil out the poorly-designed cap and binding up.

Refused to cut smoothly; just bounced up and down, very choppy. Unwieldy design, the shoulder strap is useless…wish I’d never wasted my money on this piece of junk.

You out there, don’t fall for these videos. They must’ve pre-cut branches or glued styrofoam ones on those trees. I am FURIOUS. 😡
