This was a gem, one of the very best discussions in Wolfram in the past 3 years that I have watched, we're on the verge of something revolutionary. The Emerald Cloud Lab is an amazing idea, as it gives access to 1st class equipment to all subscribers for a tiny fraction of the cost, also benefiting researchers from underfunded universities the most. It makes me think of how true AI can be used to figure out Chemistry and Physics on its own, if it is given supervised access to a fully functional lab to run its own experiments.

this is really insightful! thank you sm🎉🎉

This looks like something where a person did not know the pure mathematics or chemistry for a problem, but then they used AI instead of reading a textbook.

It's always weird when there's multiple people developing effectively exactly the same higher theoretical spaces around or exactly at the same time. Often discovering around or exactly the same thing.
Your next step towards the biological properties are computationally absurd atm until we completely redesign how we do computation from the materials on up. I'd say we're at 10^22 flops, we need way more todo this this stuff properly. Eventually one day 10^52 might be possible but the scale will take awhile to take effect

Canonical 1D function map of spherical protrusion from centroid convolved for molecular surface of interaction at distance protrusion sum at point of convolution peak. And a zero zone to find secondary interaction in the residual unculled convolution. Sounds complex.

For the crystalline structure question, talk to Dr. Sharon Glotzer.

What a load of tripe ... Who are these so called scientists . Don't waste your time with this vid if you have a chem physics background .

I guarantee one thing: our 2d "models" of carbon rings and other chemical "shapes" are incorrect. It has been used to calculate protein folding. I guarantee protein folding "models" are incorrect as well. I can say that chemistry in the living body, organic chemistry, is 4 dimensional and perhaps at the point where spiritual meets physical. We're to the level where our instruments can no longer give accurate assessments of which atom connects to which other atom. When I say spiritual, I mean at the level where "it" becomes "bit, ." where information becomes reality. All atoms are discrete in 4d space. When they get close to each other, they occupy the same "coordinate" simultaneously. The reaction then takes place and a new piece of information is generated, with a loss to its surroundings or a gain from its surroundings of "energy." I believe that single, double, and triple bonds may be the only useful "measure" of the given energy of the molecule in question. Energy is simply a combination of temperature, pressure, and proximity of molecules and can have a definite measurable value. Temperature and pressure are informational values as vibration of molecules. Temperature can be generated by magnetism, and pressure by the electric force and vice versa. Proximity is the grid which the molecules occupy in information space. More ideas later....
