As a beginner, this video is a bit of a revelation because with ink you're immediately tackling the finer details before even getting the general shape of the head on the paper. Probably something you can afford to do with experience

I have been drawing a lot and posting on my community page it helps me, the mental health nurse told me in hospital after I tried killing myself 5 times back in Jan and Feb of this year to try it and I just think it helps me not cut because if I am sad I can draw something that feels sad or something angry or evil of something I feel I wish I was a great artist like you though

For me, drawing with fineliners, brush pen with black ink, and another touch to the drawing, I really like seeing an ink drawing, that's why I love inktober drawings just with black ink... ❤

Hi Jess. You draw really beautifully! I've recently gotten back into drawing and am really trying to push the pen and ink instead of pencil, which always used to be my medium of choice. I'm struggling with portraits, especially as ink does not really enable you to draw soft lines. Choosing which lines and features to draw in and which ones to allude to or show with negative spaces seems to be my main difficulty.
I'll definitly be following your channel closely going forwards!
