I'm a vollyball player but football has always been my priority but I've recently started watching haikyu and I guess my interest in vollyball but increased a thousand times. I'm just astonished to see so many people here talking about haikyu I thought I was the only one here after watching that anime.

I am really really Thankful for Haikyuu.
I didn't care much about Volleyball and India has most focus on Cricket. I didn't like Cricket also.
But after watching Haikyuu, I realized I was missing the entire world of Sports in General.

It's fascinating for me to see that after just watching 10 - 15 episodes of Haikyuu, I can understand everything that's going on in a real volleyball on TV (Which I have never watched before). It's like suddenly being able to understand a language you never heard of.

India used to be a Volleyball powerhouse in Asia until 1970, but went downhill for the next 50 years. Its only in 2020 that the Indian Volleyball team is showing some improvement.

it makes me a little sad to think how much potential India has in sports but it doesn’t dominate in many sports because of the lack of support from the government.. still I’m looking forward to watching the performance of Indian athletes in the Tokyo olympics!
