i can't open baselight free version in avid

SDI doesn’t properly work on Baselight Look. I can get the mouse cursor through the SDI (Blackmagic TB) but no image. Thumbnails in timeline are greyed out. When turning off SDI you get thumbnails back.

Why has Baselight Edition for Avid, such limitations. I dont have a lot features like you have?

I've tried countless times to install it, and every time it says "Global Formats Database Host Your preference for the formats database host is set to localhost which could not be contacted. This application cannot continue until this is resolved. Press Quit and retry later if the database machine is temporarily offline. Alternatively enter a new database host, or delele the text entirely to use the default setting of the local system“ What should I do? I'm crashing.

I tried to download this yesterday but I’m running Mac OS Ventura(beta)and Baselight Look doesn’t support that version yet.I got a message saying something along the lines of your macOS version is too new.
