Hey everyone and welcome back to my channel! Come join me in making these quick and easy pendants today! Grab your tools and let's get crafting! 💙

🔨Materials:
-Beads or Drilled Stones (at least 8mm; flat stones/beads are easier to work with!)
-22g and/or 20g pure copper or silver wire; about 12-15" depending on the size of the stone. (You can use plated wire but you won't be able to oxidize it to give it the same definition like in my examples, but it still makes a cute pendant!)
-28g weaving wire (used to secure the design)

-OPTIONAL: Liver of Sulphur gel and baking soda water plus polishing pads/steel wool, if you want to oxidize and polish your pendant

Hi everyone! I'm so happy so many of you are enjoying this design!😄 There seems to be a recurring topic on here about the "open style bail", and I just wanted to let you guys know that if you're using 2x 20g wires, it should be strong enough for a small pendant like this, HOWEVER if you prefer a closed bail, here are some options for you:

1. After forming the chain loop (aka the bail) you can wrap the wire across the front of the loop and back around to the back. You're wrapping the twisted wire around so you're closing the bail.
2.You can use the leftover weaving wire (the thinner wire) to secure the bail

Happy crafting everyone! 💜

Cute design. Thanks for sharing.
Tip: using the excess wires on the bail to secure both the bail and frame to the back wire could help to stabilize the design further.

Rather than having an open bail, can’t you make the loop, then feed the 2 (untwisted) wire ends under the braided part of anchor them and the loop? That way no second wire is needed.

Thanks for your tutorial. This technique will work really well with some natural stones I have. I like the pear shaped stone especially.

I wonder if you could take the two wires and put them in a pin vise together and twist. Saving your arms and hands in that first twisty step. Or a rotary tool with a chuck that could grip the two wires together and on low speed twist. Just a thought

Hi, I've never made jewelry before and would love to try it..I was wondering if you could use glue to secure the wire onto the stone?
