Furniture Shopping for a New House is EXPENSIVE, and today we are looking at all Luxury High End Furniture! If I hit the lottery this is the Designer Furniture I would invest in! I agree that some furniture pieces are worth the money. We bought our dining table 20 (!) years ago at Crate & Barrel and it still looks like new

Have you ever thought about having your draperies made by a professional seamstress? You could select your fabric color and size. $400 per panel seems pretty steep, and there are people who do beautiful work.
Many years ago I had a friend who went this route after finding nothing for purchase at stores. Hers were beautiful, and she actually saved money and got exactly what she wanted. Just a thought, put your feelers out for references.

I was just watch a shop with me on another channel and learned that H&M has a home store. I know my location store doesn't include those items but the do have them online. You are the first person I thought of when I saw it. Wow! That sounds so lame. Lol. Just though it might be a place for you to look while decorating the new house.

Do you have Ethan Allen by you? Surprisingly they have beautiful furniture there and it’s much better quality. I love me some Restoration Hardware but watch out for some of their wood furniture as it is covered in veneer and chips very easily!

Definitly invest in a dining room table. I invested in a custom order solid Ethan Allen table 15 years ago and it has served me very well. It's been used for eating, studying, playing games, working, zoom meetings, etc. I've moved it all over the country and I really doubt I'll ever need to replace it.

Love your wish list, I have mine since we bought our house two years ago I’ve been saving and getting one piece at the time. I think when you love something and is a bit expensive you will take care more and it will last forever 🤗 I love PB and I do have a lot of items from there ❤️as from right now I’m saving for the emery window panels from PB I really do not want dupes I fall in love the moment I touched it in the store and say to myself they belong on my living room windows 🥰 expensive taste empty pockets lol 😂

I definitely love the round table! So many nice options (for winning the lotto) lol but finding similar items is def helping me decorate my apartment as well. Can’t wait to see which high end items you add to your place!

Katie, I support your wish list for luxury items fro your new home...it's great to dream and sometimes get the very thing you dreamed of. I have a tip for you...I've just discovered "The Potted Boxwood "vlogs....they tour amazing houses( which may not be your taste but...what stunned me was how much well do people thrift and or buy at sample sales, garage sales, FB Market Place, outlets...watch a few to get some ideas...good luck.
I don't dream about having certain household items, my dream is to have Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent come and decorate my home because I love their taste and style and it would be heaven. So we all have our dreams .... enjoy.

I liked the second round coffee table you like. I was going to suggest you play the lottery. We do. But we haven’t won big, YET! Think positive. Maybe you can buy one thing you want a year. You are still young, and then enjoy it for the rest of your life. I know that I have lived with a lot of crappy furniture that doesn’t last. I’m hoping my new sofa lasts a while. I have a cheap dining table and chairs. But I don’t care. It’s the only thing I could find to fit in my tiny dining room. I loved the bar stools. We have crappy black metal ones my husband bought at an estate sale. I finally found some new cushions for the seats. I would never buy a barstool in a white seat. But maybe you two aren’t messy. I have my husband and my grandkids that are.

That canopy bed if you was to hire someone and purchase everything you could probably build it exactly the way you want it and even have matching tables you should think about it All you need is a good carpenter

There use to be an HGTV show called "Sensible Chic" where they took a high price designer room and duped the items to create a new room for the viewer. This vlog reminded me of the show, so much fun!
