The paddle shifter complaint is stupid almost every modern EV and hybrid has them for regen. They serve a necessary purpose how could they improve them? They’re fine. Also sport has always been a cosmetic trim across most brands. All “sport” Hondas are basically the LX model with nice wheels, exhaust outlets, leather wrapped steering wheel and leatherette on the seat bolsters. It has never been a performance trim like the Si and type R the sport 2.0 was just an exception. And even then the accord 2.0T drives like a boat

Don't get me wrong, I'm sad the 2.0T is gone, but don't take a hybrid and just bash on it. This is a good hybrid vehicle. Good fuel economy, super refined. The Accord is a family sedan after all, and not going to lie, this thing still handles. It's not all soulless like what the naysayers say.

All excellent points. I choose the Camry because it had a spare tire and the LE came with high profile tires which are more durable on the rough roads I drive.

At least it is not using the L15 engine from the turbo variant that is actually developed as a Honda Fit engine from 2001.

It's a very clean and simple design. I'm a fan. I don't expect the family sedan to be a performance car. I want a reliable, efficient, and low-key vehicle to haul my kids from point A to point B.

I think the best accord is the 2018-2022 2L turbo 252 hp models. It's looks great and a very powerful engine u can feel it.

They need to bring back the accord V6 hybrid they had back in the early 2000s
