My brother just bought one about that size...and we needed it for the exact reason you mentioned. Couldn't drill a straight hole and the holes didn't line up.

I can't wait to get my workshop done (once the house is finished...). I miss having a drill press. In the US I had a full-sized Craftsman drill press. I won't need one that big here, but I will be shopping for something a bit bigger than you have there. I noticed on Lazada that for about an extra P1, 000 you could have gotten the same thing but with a drill press vise and a milling attachment. Did you not see that when you were looking? After using my drill press for several years, I would never own another one without a vise!

What they mean by 'Make in Italy' is it was designed in Italy. You have to allow for mistranslations either by non native English speakers or using auto translation tools.

Could you measure the outer diameter of the vertical pillar? I am planning to purchase one of these which I hope would be enough formy needs but i mwill need the drill itself to go a little higher so I will need to replace the vertical pillar/pipe
