About Dune:
A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, “Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

I love Paul's vision with this song. "Life is not a mystery to solve, but a reality to experiance"

A beautiful touch to Dune [1984], from 3:36 to 4:15

Hans Zimmer's work on this track and the whole soundtrack is utterly impeccable. From 2:55 onwards, you close your eyes and you find yourself transported to the endless wastes of Arrakis, walking over the dunes. So powerful.

The more I listen to this, the more I hear Lawrence of Arabia than Toto's score. I think it's the arrangement that makes us think of Toto's score, but melody-wise, it's not.

I remember The feeling in cinema, I was blown away and ofcourse fell in love with Dune.
After The crash of ornithopter I was like "now this is quite long sequence of sandwalk in The desert maybe a little bit boring" And then The amazing scene with 3:35 in The background hit and I was totally amazed again, amazing how this movie gets you with every frame!

Is it me or does 3:35 pay respect to the classic 1980’s Dune theme?

Saw the film on Monday evening and it's been in my head ever since, going back to the cinema on Friday to watch again! This soundtrack is immense.

4:34 through to the end of the track just feels to me like a motif that could be repeated in Children of Dune when Leto II is merging with the sandtrout and then jumping over the desert. The mysticism of the night.

This is all bringing back memories of truly magical walks I have done in central Australia - especially walking around Uluru at dawn and through the Valley of the Winds of Kata Tjuta at dusk.

I'm not sure, but there is reference to dune from 1984 at 03:31 . Or it's just coincidence. Who knows...

Reminds me of the classic 1984 movie soundtrack by Toto

I just listen again to Zimmer's "The Burning Bush" and that is the same, but much better.
