Yes, I have. When we had the memorial service for my parents, I spent a whole lot of money on a cheese board.
After everyone left, my brother told me he had given the leftovers (for which he had NOT PAID ANYTHING) to the staff.
I told him that there weren't any leftovers, because *I* paid for them, and I'm taking them home with me.
He complained that he had already told them, so I said,
"I understand completely! That's why you get to be the one who tell them that you overstepped, and give them a tip to make up for lying to them."
He was not amused, because he's an entitled acting AH who loves to play the bigshot with other people's money.
I took my cheese board home and shared it with my church the next Sunday.
