FPP DEBONAIR CAMERA REVIEW

The FPP DEBONAIR CAMERA from the FILM PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT is a great entry level camera for MEDIUM FORMAT photography. It's not a HOLGA, it's not a DIANA, but it does have a quirky charm all its own. The DEBONAIR is a very INEXPENSIVE TOY CAMERA - Click the link below to get your own DEBONAIR CAMERA (while they still have some left).

I really like the triptych around 3:40! I'm so glad the FPP folks are giving new and old film photographers so many good options.

That for rent sign at 6:40 is a dope shot. This camera really reminds me a ton of the Diana 120. Good stuff man

I've had one for a few years and I was surprised how good it is for being toylike. I tend to shoot the Holga more because I like the square format but you've inspired me to play withis one again.

So good that there is a market for such cameras. I personally own a Holga and I think its amazing. Thanks for making me aware of this model.

It looks a fun camera to use. I like the photo at 4:57, the clouds are great and I like the perspective.

Some of the images are surprisingly good. The double exposure of your son is very nice indeed.

It has its own art form. Thank you for sharing this

I love FPP for film and their quirky, funny videos. I just purchased the FPP Debonair and am looking forward to keeping this on me as my fun-keep-with-me-at-all-times MF camera. It'll be easy to have on hand compared to my Yashica MAT 124G or my Mamiya Six KII whenever I might be out running errands and see something I want to shoot.

This does look like a fun camera. Not having to tape up everything like some Holgas is a plus.

Glad to see another of your wonderful videos!! I could watch your images and the wonderful music for hours!! Great photos!! Love your insights as always. I didn’t know about this camera or about FPP, so thanks for that!!

Actually that looks pretty fun! Aside from the Holga/ Diana, it kind of reminds me of a giant sized Capital a bit.

All fine captures but I think the color pictures brings out the best characteristics of the camera. No one goes into an art museum, looks at a painting and says, "It's not sharp." Well, maybe some people obsessed with sharpness do. 😎 It will always be matching up the right scene with the right camera . . . and the photographer.

Nice review, I picked up one of these a few months ago, just got the first roll proceeded. It is a nice compliment to my Diana and Holga. I am going to pick up that lens if freestyle still has some.

You certainly had a lot of fun with this camera, lots of wonderful images. Just goes to prove you don't need a truck load of cash to make great images. Double exposures are always fun on this camera. I have Agfa Clack 6x9 and Agfa Click 6x6 both loaded with film I must finish off soon.

I really shouldn't be surprised that I now have major GAS for a $20 camera given how well you sold that very adequate coffee :) Would not have guessed some of those great shots were taken on this.
