I never blamed HBK for flopping around the ring like a Majikarp at Summerslam 2005. Hogan's creative control was the ultimate cheat code, giving the Hulkster's character infinite lives.

Shawn overselling for Hulk is still the funniest brother!

Taker: Hey man. Your head didn’t hit the ground.
Hogan: No brother, you had me too tight.

Hulk hogan not putting over orton in his “legend killer” stage made no sense at all hence the name. Surprise Vince even let that one happen.

This is what Hogan will be remembered for.

Hogan buried and no sold just about every wrestler that he ever faced .
His selfishness is legendary, it is so bad that it ruined more than one company.

Thats why I always loved, Roddy Piper He always refused to job to Hogan .Who else could have refused to job to Hogan in 1984 and 1985 and not gotten fired? The answer is no one. Piper was right to refuse to lose to Hogan.Hogan saying in interviews that Piper regretted not "doing business" with Hogan is B.S. Another fantasy Hogan Perspective

Hogan thinking Rude was beneath him is the most hillarious thing ever.

Hogan was ALWAYS the "spoiled child" of Vince, he always got his way even if it wasnt the right thing for business.

I was a Hulk Hogan fan in the early 80s but then after a few years just got sick of the guy - his matches were always the same: he does a little offense... then the heel starts to win... the heel pretty much has him beat and it looks like Hogan is going to lose... then he "Hulks Up" and shakes his head "no" and points to the heel... two to three moves later its time for the big leg drop... and Hogan wins.
The first few times you saw that as a little kid was cool... but after dozens and dozens of times I started to root for the heels to finally beat him.

I always thought Yokozuna losing to Hogan at WrestleMania 9 hurt his momentum a little bit. Before then, he was seen as an unstoppable beast and it was almost disappointing to see Hogan squash him in two seconds.

Randy should definitely have won that match as the “legend killer”

Hogan winning over Orton pretty much ended the whole Legend Killer gimmick for good. Randy defeated some legends in the years prior, but the really big ones he faced, like Hulk Hogan or Undertaker just blasted right through him. If a so called legend killer can't beat someone like Hogan who was in his 50s at the time, then the gimmick is a joke.

Honestly, Macho Man could've been 1-10 on this list.

I had no problem with bret losing the title to Yokozuna but hogan winning left me with a bad taste. He took yoko's moment by never letting him beat hogan clean.

Nobody:
Hogan: I don’t like that decision brother!

If you look up "going into business for yourself" in a pro-wrestling dictionary, you'd find Hulk Hogan's portrait next to it.

Fans: I liked Hollywood Hulk Hogan more as a heel character instead of a babyface
In reality Hollywood Hogan was never a character, that is who he is and was. That is his real personality

Also Mr. Perfect in the late 80s. As he debuted he started a Program with Hulk as the new Top Heel. Vince even wanted to give him the Title but Hogan told Vince that Curt wasn´t ready enough for that step and he was too green for it. So Curt got pushed down to the Midcard "to learn". As a young Dude I had a lot of Respect for Hogan but as an Adult, knowing how many pushes (and in some cases Careers) he ended just out of selfishness I have lost any bit of that Respect.
