The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the improvement exam after releasing the result. Usually, the CBSE improvement exam is held in August, a few months after the exam results are released. Students who are unsatisfied with their Class 12 results can appear for the improvement exam. They can choose the subjects in which they want to improve their exams.

First of all u can give improvement exam in any one subject this year (2023 batch)
And u can give improvement in more than one subject the next year with regular board students...
Note-U can give improvement in any subject only once, so if u are going to appear this year then next year u can't give improvement in that particular subject..
Moreover, as per my knowledge u can give improvement in consecutive years only .

There is still a option - appply for nios 12th (2024) aprail session. Prepare well and score more than 75%, you will be eligible as nios board is accepted as well!

Sir but what about the state boards where no improvement exam exists.
I am from a nonsense state boards of Odisha, where no improvement exam is exist.
Here in our Odisha, Getting 90% in boards and failing in jee mains is very common,
Most of the people think scoring 80 percentile in mains is equal to scoring 80% in mains😂
Getting admitted into state engineering is sense of big achievement of getting into IIT B CSE😅
