Big Bang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment in 2006. The group is known for its unique style, blending various genres such as K-pop, hip-hop, and R&B, which has significantly influenced the K-pop industry. Big Bang initially consisted of five members: G-Dragon (leader), T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri. The group gained massive popularity with hits like "Lies," "Haru Haru," and "Fantastic Baby," earning them the title "Kings of K-pop." They are also recognized for their impact on fashion and culture beyond just music.

In recent years, the group has undergone changes. Seungri left Big Bang and retired from the entertainment industry in 2019 following a series of controversies. Also T.O.P left Big Bang too.

Despite this, the remaining members—G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—have continued their solo activities and occasionally release music as Big Bang. As of 2024, the group's future activities remain a topic of interest for fans worldwide.
