Here’s what Zakk has to say about Forrest Street "In February of 2020 I had the extraordinary opportunity of being an Escape2Create Artist-In-Residence, living for the entire month in Seaside, Florida where I was focusing on writing a suite of music inspired by my Great-Grandfather's poetry. Have you ever seen The Truman Show, with Jim Carrey? Yeah. That "fake" town is actually a real place and I lived within a couple minutes bike ride from the main house in the movie. I was overwhelmed with creativity during my time there, and I still think that has been the most productive month of my entire life. While most of the music I wrote ended up becoming part of my suite, "The Whispering Gallery", one of the first things I wrote was this song. My quaint apartment above the garage was nestled right on Forest Street. This tune reminds me of riding my bike along the quiet streets of Seaside, surrounded by ocean air, overgrown trees, and infinite possibilities. "
