How to spot fake Adidas Superstar sneakers

The letter R is found on the fake front tongue.

The original side must have a triangular seam, compared to the fake one which is oval.

Also on the side we have to find the word SUPERSTAR ... inspect the word carefully ... the original one is thinner, compared to the fake one which is thicker.

take out the insole ... you have to find the white color in the original adidas, not blue as in the fake one.

The sole of the adidas Superstar fake has the word adidas and the company logo ... the original one doesn't have to have anything.

If your pair matches some of the descriptions in the description, there is a chance they aren't fake. The older Superstar C77s compared to the newer EG48s have thick blue EVA foam under the insoles, they also have the "R" mark on the tongue, the stitching on sides under the ankles are more curved unlike the sharper ones on the EG48s, and the sole also has a single adidas word and trefoil. The C77s are a lot more comfier too

I've always worn Shelltoes. Jist get it from the mall.

Back then, the heel part is a dead giveaway. The real ones are curved at the back, the fakes are just flat.
Now fake makers are getting better lol.

thanks mate. i bought mine from the official website so i actualy know they are real. but someone told me that under the sole it should be blue. but thats only for the classic white ones. and i got these ones. and it also doesn't say "adidas" on the swirly pattern underneath so now i'm just 100% certain i got the real ones.

In thfe original sneakers, there can be reject aswell. The toes and the backsheet. That why you must check the pair of sneakers together 4:49

The biggest giveaway which I didnt see him show was the logo on the heels diffrent colors and the "superstar" letter placement other than that ppl would have to look really close to your shoes to notice the stitching isnt right but ive seen way better fakes than the ones he showed

Salut, au facut cumva update la model? Deoarece la anumite modele, sub calapod, este un silicon albastra branduit cu numele si logo-ul adidas. La acestia din video, baza este alba si fara nume. Am comandat si eu o pereche si este la fel ca cea pe care o prezinti tu. Dar comparativ cu ce am acasa, toti luati din magazilele adidas, au talpa din gel albastru cu numele si logo-ul. o alta remarca pe care am facut-o intre ei este ca pe limba adidasilor langa numele adidas este un R. Vreo parere ?

i watched many videos about real vs fake and they showed the real pair should have blue floor, and graved logo on lower suface aganist the ground, my pair has white floor like you showed here and has no logo on lower suface, thank you i thought it was fake

How about the skin of the shoes, do they look the same too? I heard that the fake adidas superstar same as paper I mean when you fold it in just a one to two minutes you will see the cracking edges, and sometimes it is start in rinckles until overall you will see the skin just like you need to fill out the skin to remove.

Can't believe they make fake Superstars now and very convincing too. The stitching on the fake looks terrible.

I buy mine from Adidas so I have no worries.
