Green Chicken Pozole Prepared with Nixtamal

A delicious recipe for Pozole Verde- prepared with tomatillos, green chilies, chicken, and hominy.

Ingredients:
3 Lbs of Nixtamal or three 30 oz cans of Hominy
5-6 Bone-in Chicken Thighs or 3-4 lbs of boneless pork shoulder
One head of garlic
1/2 white onion
2 bay leaves
2 poblano peppers
4-5 Serrano peppers (optional)
6-8 tomatillos
2-3 Tbsp chicken bouillon or salt to taste
2 Tbsp Oregano
1 Tsp Cumin
10-12 Cups of Water (Divided)
5-6 Bone-in Chicken Thighs or 3-4 lbs of boneless pork shoulder

Topping Suggestions:
Cabbage, Lettuce, Red Onion, Radishes, Avocado, Chili Flakes, Oregano

Sounds good, and excellent call on using thigh meat. Id just use homemade chicken stock instead of the chicken powder which is mostly salt or MSG. But im sure its still delicious. Thanks for the vid!
