Die hard 49ers fan for 3 decades, Harbaugh immediately propelled the 9ers from obscurity to perennial contenders. Potentially weird and overbearing, but accumulated a roster of straight bad-asses with one singular objective, a championship. Didn’t work out in that tenure, but hindsight reveals ownership didn’t have the fortitude or appreciation for his style. Chargers fans should be absolutely stoked for this guy. Potentially overbearing weirdo, yes. Straight DAWG, absolutely yes!

I been a raiders fan for 46 years. The chargers have always, always had tremendous talent and a very worthy adversary. With this coach and qb, i fear for the next 7 or 8 years. Im proud of our afc west rivalries and wouldnt trade or change it. As i got older my hatred has turned to respect. Cant wait to play chargers, denver and kc.
