If the U.S would bring back vintage designs, nothing could compete with them.

This is the only way to bring back the past, through the cars we loved and still do! Thank You Chevy!

All car companies should keep the classic look of the automobiles of yesteryear. That’s why people love cars 🚗

When I finished Navy Flight Training in Pensacola, Fl, I bought a new 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop Convertible, light blue and white top. I loved the car. I traded several years later with 44, 000 miles on it. I loved that car and wish I still owned it. I am delighted that Chevrolet is bringing back the original design. I may just buy one.

Back on 27January, 1967, I paid $250 for a 1958 Bel Aire. It had 111, 000 some miles on it. It had a four-barrel carb with dual exhaust. It had a 348 cubic inch V-8. It was mostly through, but I was just a callow kid, and I knew not any better. It was an expensive education in jalopies and automotive economics. I kept it until late October of that same year. During that time I replaced all of the tyres, re-covered the front seat, replaced freeze plugs, replaced the leaky radiator, replaced a wheel bearing, replaced most of the exhaust system, gave up on power steering and just strong armed it around, and then finally gave up sold the old wreck for $50 and went back to the bicycle and to walking. Woe. In 1970, I was riding my bicycle home from work and decided to take the scenic route past a junk yard. There on the edge was what was formerly my '58 Bel Aire. I know it was mine from the devastation down most of the driver's side of the body and the doors on that side. The engine and the transmission were together on the ground and the radio was gone. I thought, "You old hunk of junk. Just where you belong."

Looking back, I would love to have a brand new '25 Bel Aire just like that '58 was when it was new. I do not need any of that electronic crap save for the radio. I might go with a transistorised radio. I would add some seat belts and a right side view mirror, but other than that, I would make no changes. I get frustrated with all the complicated bells and whistles on my new Silverado, and I made a special point to choose the cheapest and least complicated model.

The Classic Chevrolet design can not be duplicated. It was perfect at it's time and practically impossible to relive what it was. The Classic BelAir will live forever as a premium design car.

I love it. I'm a classic car lover. The Belair is distinctive and looks like eyecandy to me. It does not look like every other car on the road. Nice design. CLASSIC.

My first car “by choice” was a ‘57 Bel-Air. 283, four barrel, power glide. Power glide didn’t last very long and I swapped it out for a three speed manual with a floor shift. It was painted bright Yellow with black interior. I sure loved cruising around in her.

I think that it's a wonderful idea. A melding of the past and the present. That classic old style look with modern day technology. It looks like a no lose proposition for everyone.

Wow we all have great memories of truly a super and innocent time in our lives. Born in 1940 so at a teenager with a license at 16 yrs old lived as many did at a blessed time. We couldn't wait for the new cars to come out every year. Fords Chevys Corvette thunderbird's etc etc. The best was cruising the green on Thursday nights. Dozens upon dozens of the most beautiful cars in the world with colors beyond belief. Car clubs galore. Mindboggling. Great memories to say the least.
