Brother, whether I like/love the watches you’re reviewing- I truly appreciate your energy when reviewing these gems. THIS Frogman in particular, I do own- black version. It’s always been a polarizing design, but to me, that’s part of the charm of these g-shock watches. They can be ostentatious is their design but they’re always intriguing and FUN to look at. I love the brand and their real world and sometimes pretentious utility. Keep up the good work!

I just noticed that the header might have a flav on it. Afaik, it does not have multiband 6 (as does not the original Dw-8200nt, either, which this is almost a straight copy from), so I don't think it's an Atomic watch. Love your reviews and videos btw, I'm a huge G-shock fan & collector myself, and I do love the red tone (and the concept of making reissue of The second Frogman on the first place) of that watch, though.

I think that it's like the anniversary-squares etc, with the original design and functions, so only update vs the original dw-8200, is that it's solar-powered and has LED instead of EL. I have some frogmen myself (mainly older ones, like the gw-225a-1, which is my fav one), and any of them, except the gwf-a1000 don't have multiband 6. I think that gwf-1000 and gwf-d1000 do have it, but not many other models (If any?). :)

So which do you prefer now since it's been a little while since release of all these ? This, the black or icerc?
Thinking of going down to this model as my D1000 is a little bulky and heavy for daily work use.
