Will they root in the winter? Or do they stay dormant and wait till spring to root?

Would you be willing to make a list of which plants you take hardwood cuttings from in winter, and which plants you take softwood cuttings from in summer?

Wouldn't the cuttings just spoil for being in cold, wet soil?

Do I need to protect these cuttings from deer?

I had to rewatch 3x to get the name right of that cutting you were planting. Wyldewood. Google didn't spit out a result at first. Its an elderberry right? Sounds fun.

I envy your career. Surrounded by nature and finding new types and sub types (I remember you first episode about your shipmast locust you propagated from root cuttings). Keep up the excellent work!
