Brian Tyree Henry is probably my new favorite VA for Megatron. The way he delivers the “I’m done saving you” line was HARD af and made my spine tingle in the theater

The script states that D-16 asked _himself_ "why did you do that", as opposed to Orion. Personally that makes it even more heartbreaking - he knows how badly he had fucked up, yet still tries to make it sound like it's Orion's fault as always. Just like always, he tries to hide behind a soothing lie rather than face a harsh truth.

He mulls over that - it was always Orion. Always getting him in trouble, always needing to be helped out or saved, even at the time of ultimate revenge where he believes he can finally end Iacon's suffering, or more importantly to him, his own.

Whether he's asking himself or Orion why this happened, he comes to the same conclusion - _Megatron is faultless._

We knew it was coming. We all knew D-16 was going to become Megatron. But I still gasped when his eyes went red and let Orion fall.

0:07 = Orion wasn't pleading for his life here. He was begging D-16 to not let darkness consume him as it became clear that D-16 was totally consumed by darkness.

Never mind Sentinel's death being satisfying and his crimes being atrociously appalling, the end of Orion's friendship with D-16 was just tragically sad here.

the fact in the music you can hear the sense of panic but slowly becomes a threat or a sense of anger as if D16 is fighting it, till he looks away and the last Warning comes out and Megatron finally breaks its former shell the mask he created know as D16

The moment that changed everything.
D16, a victim of slavery and oppression, had finally brought the one who crushed him and scarred him to his knees. With his shot lined up, he would have his revenge. But just as the energy left the gun’s chamber, things did not go as planned. Orion had taken the point blank shot for Sentinel, and now hangs by D16’s hand over the great chasm below. He couldn’t believe it, D16 demanded why Orion, the man who fought alongside in this revolution and who was practically his brother, would stop him from doing what must be done for the good of Cybertron. Orion said nothing, for he believed his actions would explain everything: killing Sentinel wouldn’t be good for anyone, D16 would only become another tyrant should he actually do it, and so he tried to save his friend from falling. But D16, consumed by his hatred and desire for revenge, took the silence to mean something entirely different. Orion had got in his way, he couldn’t do what must be done, or worse, he was either with Sentinel or had a last second change of heart.
This was the last straw. After everything they’ve been through, Orion has done the unforgivable and prevented this all from ending. Only four words came to mind of what it means for D16 and Orion:

“I’M DONE SAVING YOU”

This was so cold, because this was when brothers became enemies, and the way Orion just falls to his supposed death was just so perfect at capturing the melancholy of the moment
