Christianity is only 2000 yrs old & Judaism is 3500 old. Man is millions of yrs old. There are religions older than these 2 religions. Hinduism is more than 5000 yrs old.

People had no concept of Monotheism back then when everyone had a patron deity in every town - much like the Roman Catholics and Patron Saints.

The Port Cities likely had Seafaring Deities, while the Agricultural towns had local Patrons of the Earth.

The Mother has been there from the beginning, if there is a Father there must be a Mother too, and if they want to acknowledge only one, then the creator of all is more likely to be a female Deity, but in my opinion, God is composed by a Female and Male parts. That's why the idea of the holy spirit as the female part of God makes so much sense in my opinion, only then God is really complete (the Father and the Mother)
