these seeds are nigella sativa, which are called black seeds not black cumin seeds (Elwendia persica). Most people make confuse the two, including myself for many years.

Lol well I must have planted one or two seeds cause I have one tiny seedling. I will go add a lot more seeds tomorrow. Mine is common cumin though. I can barely wait to taste it. Thank you.

Hi! I recently bought a sack of brown rice and there are a lot of these black things like the ones on the the video on the rice I bought and I am really concerned if they are really nigella seeds or they are something people are not supposed to consume. I live in the Philippines btw.
