Introducing Android Go edition. A powerful experience for entry-level smartphones. It’s the not quite the best of Android, but it's built with new and reimagined apps, so even the most affordable Android smartphones are as sweet as they can be.

The only biggest bummer with android Go is No notification access or dots which is needed by very many apps like launchers.

The one thing that doesn't work is the brightness controls, I swear some wires got crossed, or whatever the programming equivalent of crossed wires is. The auto brightness feature is advertised as adjusting to lighting around the user and the user's activities within the device. The latter aspect is the bit that is broken, turning off auto brightness does not turn off auto adjust to device activity, and the auto adjusting to device activity is itself broken. Taking into account the amount of light and dark pixels in the screen the brightness level should adjust to compensate for the user, but instead the brightness capitulates, exacerbates the lightness or darkness of the screen, creating uncomfortable brightness or even going so far as to turn off the screen altogether before looping around and blinding the viewer with sudden flashes should the darkness go too low.
I can't find a good place to complain about these issues to someone who can fix them, so I'm just kind of venting into a YouTube video of similar subject matter

But what if this Android Go will be working with high end devices? Would that make the high end device a lot faster and what would be the sacrifices if this is possible?

I hate it because my Alcatel One 5033D buttons are no longer works. Android Go don't have Buttons and Gestures settings which is harder for me to use my phone everyday. Other than that, it's okay. I'm saving up to buy a used Dony Xperia Xz2.
