The Infiniti G20 is an awesome FWD car. It was rated one of the best handing cars in the 90's. It has the SR20DE motor, and the independent multilink suspension from the 300zx. The Infiniti G20 Touring comes with an LSD for even better handling.

I’d also add the Fiesta ST to the list. They’re very reliable, and comparable to Civic Si in terms of power and weight but without the Honda tax.
