Almost every time he was circling with the puck near circles it was a sure goal. He used his big size, strong hands and low center of gravity perfectly - impossible for defenders to get him out of the puck. Jagr trained a lot, he spent most of his free time either in gym or on the rink. Staying out of drugs or alcohol... truly remarkable person with insane discipline. Hockey is his life and it shows, he loves it more than anyone.

Jagr was so good in his prime that it looked like he wasn’t even trying. That’s when you know you are on a different level than everyone else. Amazing player who was worth the price of admission all by himself

I think sometimes we forget this guy won 5 straight Art Ross trophies during a time that the league was full of extremely talented players. He truly is an all time great, top 10 on my opinion

As a southern guy that has no hockey team, and really hasnt watched much. This is the guy i associate hockey with the most. Back in those days late night espn was basically the same highlights on repeat. This man was on a lot of them

What I like about his game is that his goals are beautiful. No rebounds or pushed into net. He goes through 1-2-3 players and scores shorthanded, bringing the puck into net with purpose. You don't see that often.

One of the greatest players. So glad he was in his prime when I started watching hockey and this dude was fantastic. Greatest mullet of all time. What made it better was the commentators.

There are no words to describe what he did and how amazing he was. But I feel very sorry he left to KHL for some time, he could did much more in NHL. And I feel sad for his little bit bitter end in NHL. If he only could make a deal with Pittsburgh it could be great return to his first team. His last years in NHL were quite confused and unsettlet, its not how legend should be ending NHL career. But its amazing he is still play today! He still plays in the highest Czech hockey league (Extraliga).

It was a real treat to watch Jagr play hockey when I was a kid. Most franchises have never got to have a player like Jagr play for them. And here in Pittsburgh we have had not only Jagr but Lemieux, Crosby, and Malkin. Not to mention Ron Francis, Paul Coffey and a list of others. We have been spoiled here to get to see some of the games best ever play hockey here on a nightly basis. Truly got to see some amazing things.
