Tribute for my akira ~ My Immortal

5:30 in the morning Sept 17, my father woke me up, saying..
"anak, gising na, patay na ung aso mo."
at first, i did not believe him, I knew the fact that she was weak, (and for the months that she was sick, I was thinking that sooner or later, she would meet the end...)

weeks before that, I was thinking to mercy-kill my dog since it really hurt me, seeing her in that condition. But my mother still pushed me to run her to vet whenever akira felt bad. My mother did not lose hope, so did I.

after several times of visiting the vet, and even confining her in the clinic, I really felt sad that soon my best friend will pass away :(

until last sunday (sept 16), she did not want to eat anything. She refused to intake her medicine. She just slept the whole day. Lied at the back of our front door, under the chair, and inside her dog cage (those places were her first spot when she came in our house)

And that morning that I woke up and heard the news, I saw blood of her in our floor (maybe she poop or vomit) and I was looking for her, my father explained, "Nilibing ko na anak. nilibing ko na bago kita ginising kasi baka umiyak ka pa."

Those did not sink in easily in my head. I wiped the blood. And minutes later, I cried so hard. I cried. My bestfriend is gone :'(
