I have a question for number 23 why was it A? Isn’t it supposed to be B because we multiply by the number of times the interest was compounded?

In what sort of cases we use formula y= ax^t

q = t/4, which means that we have to replace t by 4q not by q/4. And since they want it in terms of q, we have to distribute the exponent. (1.02)^4q = ((1.02)^4)^q = (1.082)^q, then the answer is D
