Thanks for reviewing Tom and we're so happy to receive the Seal of Excellence from you! Quick clarity that there will indeed be 4 cases PLUS the tutorial on the game's retail release :)

FYI folks - Tom inadvertently referred to Chronicles of Crime 1600 a few times. There is no Chronicles of Crime 1600. He meant 1400. In any case both games are great!

Love these off shoots of Chronicles of Crime. Can't wait to get the one set in the future.

For fan based scenario, I'm sure LDG will be implemented importing some puzzle pictures into the CoC application devkit (the case maker app in Windows or Mac), and you could just print the puzzle component yourself at home in an inkjet paper. It's not like there will be so much puzzle cards in 1 scenario.

Say all you want Tom, we're only here for the scintillating Eiffel tower on the shelf... XD

It's a great series, so far supported by passionate and dedicated people who create great extra content available online (like, dozens of cases for the original box!). That more than makes up for the relative lack of content (4 cases that you really don't want to do twice obviously)...

My guess is that the new puzzle cards could be something scenario creators would provide as print & play !

Having not played the game, I'm wondering if extra puzzle cards could just be images that show up in the app?

why start with the original over this? This one seems to get slightly better reviews so I'm considering picking this one up first

What is the level of doc últs of the scenarios included in the game? How many scenarios are included? How long did they take you to play them?

So the designers are not gonna create any more cases of the base set and keep pushing new expansions ??

Played the second case in Chronicles of Crime: 1400 and I think I'm done with this series. It's scanning, scanning, scanning until the solution is obvious. I feel like a grocery clerk.

Consulting Detective may be longer and more tedious (having to write things in a notebook) but that newspaper and map makes you really feel like a detective. And there's DEADLINE which has a puzzily "The Grizzled" style card game in between clues which breaks up the monotany. Deadline really needs more love (and expansions!)

I love your Eifel Tower. Is it lighted or is it just the way the lights in the studio are hitting it?

It would have been nice to see more diversity in the character ethnicity and so on - it seems strange to not see ANY people of colour there whatsoever.
