I am pretty sure it is NOT the "Sportpalast" (demolished in 1973), it is the "Palast der Republik", the most famous stage in East-Berlin.

Ahhh now this brings back many happy memories of watching the VHS of this with my Dad.Love the two trumpeters on the left, the one with the glasses the legend that is the late Derek Watkins.

Thank you for the memories of enjoying live concerts in England, so many times 1970 to 2010.The best all round orchestra, my favourites were the classical pieces, so faultlessly performed.Hansi was adored by his audiences world wide and is desperately missed. Many thanks to "New Last" for continuing the orchestra.❤❤🌹🌹🌹
