walkaround & idle 1971 Torino 500

All original unmolested 1971 Torino 500 formal roof top with the rare spring promotional trim which includes the red pinstriping on the exterior body & hubcaps and red trim interior. 210k miles. i am the second owner as of may 2012. 351 cleveland & c4, a/c p/s. motor has been never torn apart. i have all the paperwork and original window sticker of the car when sold. only mods i did was a 2 1/4 exhaust, X pipe to mac flowpath mufflers

original owner bought it in Fullerton CA and spent most of its life commuting & garaged in Modesto CA. original interior, not reulphostered. i believe original vinyl top too. owner crashed the frontend back in 1990 and got the front end fixed and straighted & primered, but never got a grille.

Love this video. My Uncle had nearly the same car then passed it on to my Mom and brother. It even had a vertical dent in the same area where that gray repair is. I hope you don't change it much because it is near perfect inmo. Thanks for posting this video. Really made my day.

Nice car.  I had almost the identical model in green.  (Bought from my grandmother who was the original owner).  The "spring" edition makes them look a lot sharper than the other Torinos.  I had to drive a lot in winter, and by 1988 it was rusted everywhere.

The Spring Torino 500 were offered in only three colors. 9492 in Green. 8821 in pewter  and 14587 in brown. making a grand total of 32900 units. Very nice....very Rare.

The Torino Spring was an option for the 500 hardtop formal roof. With 115u$ you could add this pack: 14x7 GT wheels with hubcaps and rims, Rear hood moulding crome, body side moulding, front fender stripe, hubcaps and 500 emblem accent color and Halo roof with accent color moulding. Interior, GT upholstery and GT door panels with accents colors.
From 89966 T-500 hardtop , 32900 were Spring pack. Were made in three colors. 14587 Ginger ( special new color ), 9492 peppermint and 8821 pewter.
