Hey, sorry to bug you, but I'm trying to decide between the Tribe 9.5 and the Tribe 11.5. Do you know if the 9.5 tracks well? It seems the better option to try to carry myself, but I just don't want to be cutting back and forth a lot across the water.

Hello man that is a cool Kayak. I wouldn't mind having a kayak with a sailor on it. I have just one question though? The pedals on the kayak to steer it are they pretty wide. I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making it for a very very foot. My foot is 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toes. It sucks and it's very embarrassing to have a foot this extremely wide with the size of my toes. It has stopped me from getting sit inside kayaks and certain types of sit-on-top kayaks. I have had salesmen ask me how wide is my foot and how fat are my toes. Happy related Christmas to you and your family have a happy New Year. Off topic, I’ve been searching for a kayak and I made the decision to get a Zulu kayak

I find it interesting that folks buy kayaks and then try to convert them to other types of boat e.g. motorboats and sailboats. Kayaks are inherently unstable, so adding a sail will magnify that quality...not that it's not worth trying. I own two kayaks: a sit on top and a sit inside, and although I considered modifying one for a small trolling motor, it made more sense to pick up, for the price of a kayak, a Pelican Bass Raider. Have fun.
