Freya: "Depends. Do you have a giant corpse for me to reanimate?"
Kratos: "Wait here. Let me fetch my grandfather."

Imagine if Kratos somehow found an Olive seed or something, no doubt he'd plant that, grow a tree, and savor his first olive in years

I like the subtle angry tone Kratos had when he talked about how Freyr got burned as a "guest" becuz in ancient Greece culture and myth harming a guest is a big taboo and is very looked down on

I like how Kratos and Freya converse like they are a divorced couple who overcame their conflicts but now know each other's shortcomings all too well.

5:23 “So Freyr was a guest when Odin burned him?”

In Greek mythology, good hospitality towards guests was a divine duty of all hosts, and treating guests poorly was to invoke the wrath of the gods.

I love this games attention to detail❤

Glad they had Kratos note the "guest" part about Freyr. Been a while since I've seen him say something that actually does a throwback to ancient Greece

Mimir - ‘any pre-frimbulwinter foods you’re craving?’
Kratos - ‘Olives’
Mimir - ‘the hells an olive?’
Best line in the whole series

I love how when freya is talking about the building of the wall and says it was to be done in 3 seasons, Mimir jumps in to argue it was 2. He’s fine with learning about stuff he didn’t know or fully understand, but is confident he knows what he knows.

Mimir: *The most knowledgeable being in existence.*
Also Mimir: The hell's an olive?

This is a trio I never thought I wanted to see in my life. 🤣

Ever since the trailer i suspected that Freya's inability to fight/hold a weapon was a curse that was bound to Balder, as long as he could not be harmed she could not harm another

I like how humble he is, like Freya thinks she can take him. And he's like ok

Freya's people is mythologically an agriculture heavy culture, and those cultures usually care deeply for their families, especially offsprings. Like east Asian cultures. Whereas the Aseirs are depicted as mythological viking warriors. They are familiar with losing relatives or offsprings in battle. Which explains why Thor only wanted retribution but Freya demanded vengeance.

Kratos told this woman TO HER FACE that he knew there was an easy way to murk a bitch (that could turn people to stone) but he CHOSE to murk said bitch the hard way. This same woman really heard him say that all that and still thought she could kick his ass.

Last game Mimir had enough tales and nuggets of wisdom to fill over 40 minutes. Now barely over 8. Pity, I do like hearing his yarns.
