Basically my entire GT7 career....practise, practise practise...get faster to start at the top of the grid. First slow corner get punted or pushed from the side.
Drop spots or end up last.Take a severe hit on my DR. Dont even think about quitting...even worse hit on DR.
Dirty driver moves up in DR for winning or moving into top 8 spots.
Takes a hit in SR...NO PROBLEM the dirty driver can boost it in Daily A. No "real" punishment for dirty driving.
Punting is old style.
The new style is bump the rear quarter panel.
The victim either spins or lose speed fishtailing.
NO PENALTY for doing it.
This game literally rewards the Dirty Driver.

Until they start adding damage that you need to pit to have your car fixed, the dirty driving will never stop. You can knock out cars in front of you, put them back 30-seconds behind you, and only cop a 5-second penalty for it. But if they change it to drivers that wanna ram ppl off the track, they'll need to pit in to repair the car, keeping the dirty drivers out of the race.

The dirty driving is insane in this game. The penalty system/damage is broken it makes the game almost unplayable in lower lobbies

What the developers need to do is if a car behind you runs you or shoves you off and they continue on that car gets it's normal time penalty plus the car that was shoved off automatically takes the violators position on the race track aswell. As it now the car that gets shoved off gets more of a penalty for just being in the wrong spot. People would drive alot more cautious if they end up losing their track position everytime they run someone off.

I just gave up racing online in GT7 quite some time ago, tired of getting punted or crashing into a sideways car that did not ghost and then receiving a penalty myself. My DR is crap mostly because of that. When I saw Monza on Daily B I thought this was exactly what was going to happen.

Monza has always been chaos, that's why I usually don't race it when it comes up in the dailies. I'm only a "B" and those lobbies are usually worse. It's like so many dive purposely in T1 especially L1 and hope for the best since the game usually do a lot of ghosting there.

In multiple races over the last few weeks on different tracks, I'm at the stage where I try and recover and complete the race but find myself rage quitting more! Totally agree, my DR & SR have been going up & down like a yoyo! I'm not perfect, but try to race clean. I've found the higher lobbies are the worst!

I've got a think the increased number of tools is down to xbox owners selling their consoles for a PS5 and they don't understand how to race cleanly, i'm pretty sure it wasn't always like this. When they decide which split drivers go into yes qually times are important, but your behaviour on track has to be a critical criteria for the split your put into. The whole system need overhauling persistant drivers should be ghosted until they can show that they can play by the rules.

I got an email this week from PD threatening me with suspension because I used a word they deemed inappropriate in the chat after a race. So, they want to treat me like a naughty little boy, yet the likes of Kimi Velocini and countless other dirty drivers get away with blue murder. The rules and penalty system in GT 7 are an absolute joke.

It's still a kick to the teeth when they still never added the Pikes Peak Hillclimb despite they got the exclusive rights to use it

I decided to try gt7 online for the first time ever this week and was getting wrecked hard lol. I was like wtf is wrong with these people? Glad it’s not just me, devs gotta do something about these crazies.
