"No one sings like you anymore" - Black Hole Sun. RIP Chris Cornell.

Chris sings a song called Seasons and it is absolutely beautiful. It showed just how truly talented he was…..enjoy your weekend

Oh you have got to hear him in Temple of the Dog - Say Hello 2 Heaven and "When I'm down live at the troubadour". Two incredible ballads where Chris is pouring his heart out both in his singing and the lyrics.

The great Johnny Cash did a cover of this that digs into your soul!

I love Lex’s smile when she hears a badass guitar riff!🤘

I'd highly suggest trying The Day I Tried to Live by Soundgarden! Totally my fav by them.

If you want to listen to Chris doing a ballad you should listen to When I'm down live at the troubadour in 2010

He does sing a Prince song “Nothing Compares to You”. Just him and a guitar

Lex would like Chris' cover of "Nothing Compares 2 U" if she wants a ballad.
Telling ya, rocker at heart....

Whenever I hear the end of Rusty Cage I expect it to be followed by the beginning of Outshined. Probably because I’m old enough to remember buying this album on TAPE when it first came out. I still have it somewhere…

I loved going up to Seattle to watch them in the 90’s, great shows

“Call me a dog” Temple of the dog- might be somewhat closer to what you’re looking for.

Rysty Cage was a total game changer - a transition from "popular" alt-rock/grunge to a much heavier trend setting. The drums on this album is just epic....

That slow part is one of the meanest, heaviest riffs ever. Never fails to hit hard. \m/

Every time I hear this song, it triggers memories of playing "Road Rash" back in the day.. lol..

Temple of the Dog. Say hello to Heaven. Chris Cornell’s best vocals! 🔥🎸

After all of the fluff of the 80's, you can imagine how deeply we drank up Soundgarden. I was 21 when this album came out and all of us were ready and waiting for music to go into this direction.

Great reaction. Check out Johnny Cash's version of this same song. Hard to believe this song could be made into a country tune, even harder to believe that Johnny would do such a great job, that I almost feel this song was meant to be his. It'll blow your hair back kids!

Cheers!

The Soundgarden you need to listen to next: Nothing to Say, Fell on Black Days, Beyond the Wheel. Chris Cornell you need: Seasons, Nearly forgot my broken heart. Then more Audioslave is a must!
