Got my 6yr old the brushed buggy 👍🏾 his 1st hobby grade r/c. Just fast enough to jump our ramp! Faster than those Target b/s Lightning McQueen toys, LOL

You should look into the brushless models from tacon. 179.99 brand new and they have all metal driveshafts, gears, diffs, shock towers and shocks. There a lot higher quality for the slightly higher price.

so with the longer wheelbase and a 2s lipo, the brushless version is crazy fast and handles way better.

my deans plugs haven't arrived yet but im gonna hit my LHS and grab a pair, ill make a speed run on the brushless version with nimh and 2s lipo
