Pacific rim uprising is kinda eh only because they used too much advanced technology, with like the robot being so agile and humanoid, and their movement being so fluid than robotic like, and to make things worse is that you had to bring kids into the mix which took the seriousness out of the movie, also the first movie main characters becoming side characters, at this point, it's a completely different movie, it's doesn't work as a sequel
