My sister got 2 tests last Wednesday. Both the rapid test and other test came back negative but today she got a call from the dept of health saying she’s positive. Wtf is going on? I live in the far south-west of Cornwall. We had the fewest cases of Covid until the Government announced, just before Christmas, that many cities inc. London were going into tier 4 & 5 while Cornwall remained tier 1. There were no travel restrictions & hotels down here remained open so guess what happened? - Tourist resorts like St. Ives etc. were full of city tourists over Christmas & now the virus (including new strains from the southeast) is rife, largely contaminating big brand supermarkets. The actions of the government actually fast tracked the virus to the least affected area - rushing it from the busy south-east to the remote far south-west. They didn't give a toss about us. People down here know who the real "Covidiots" are - the Government & so called S.A.G.E.

Imagine recording everyone that's died WITH or died for any reason within 60 days of a positive test from the common cold/flu! Then putting those figures on the news everyday.
You would then have a flu pandemic every year

This is when I am proud to be a buckeye. Our university positivity rate on campus stayed around 1-2% once we got settled on campus last year and it shocks me to know that BAMA students would be this stupid to do an event like this. I will admit, off-campus wise parties still happen but on-campus would never do such a thing.
